Do the straight cuts lose less power?

Perhaps a little bit, we need a back to back test on the same motor, any takers :)

Have you warned the neighbours about the Sebring alarm clock?

Looks very cool. Is it normal for the fuel pipe to past over the fan?

The position does look slightly out but it is very much dictated by the hard line angles which feed the carb and fuel pump. The line is clamped onto the bracket for the bellows which has moved it down, but the bellows are not being used.

Julian at Reap Automotive has finished the gauges ready to ship. The Tach is now electronic rather than cable driven.

Probably a slightly easier install in the daily than in the 356 :)

Really nice looking motor, that exhaust looks interesting as its got more standard sized silencer boxes compared to other sebring systems i've seen.

Love the tall velocity stacks too, great wor,

How long till CLM? eek

Another month would have been ideal, especially given the upholsterer broke a rib and is working at half pace. I will keep pushing :)

This was state of play yesterday so almost done today. Obviously went for a complete carpet rear. The carpet kit was good quality but needed a lot of trim. My seat rails are not original which caused some head scatching trying to fit carpet

As mentioned the door glass and frames are fitted. Everything works as it should.

Even the wing mirror required modification to allow it to push out far enough to see behind and not leave a very unsightly gap.

Car is moving 20 miles up the road this morning so we can fit the engine, brakes, new transmission mounts and finalise the electrics

Can't wait to see it finished. Make a video of it running / driving if you can when it's done.
