Would the DVLA nonsense have relevance to this one - lhd conversion, lots of mods incl a roll cage?

Would be a great base for a hill climb/sprint car where road registration may not be required thus no issues with DVLA now or in the future.
To me, this car is a snip at the price.

Hmmmmm. I could have that converted back to LHD and register it here without a problem. What's that going to cost to finish, realistically? So's I can present a 'business case', y'know?

Out of curiosity, does the v5c state whether the car is rhd or LHD? Don't think I've ever looked for it. Other body/chassis mods and engine/gearbox numbers will be the sticking point. I wonder how the V5c reads at present

It doesn't, although it seems to be a standard question from insurance companies.

roughly what did it reach?

he's a money man - buys hard low and sells high, so no surprises if the reserves are high, unlike e.g. Mike Brewer who prices to sell so he can get on with his next project.

2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Think the '58 special was provisionally sold at £32,500 whilst the 68T got to £68k.

Funny how there are no interior pictures? I take it the Crayford conversions are recorded somewhere, so this type of claim could be refuted that they did the conversion, or do you think it was parts from another car, just interested?

Car appears to have been sold in the USA, then exported to Australia where it was converted, so not a Crayford. Also it has an ashtray, which is not the Crayford way...
