Happy 80th to...

...Josh Sadler! I know he's not a DDK-er, but one one of the stalwarts of the scene from prehistoric times.

Happy Birthday Josh !

Probably the original/key person to spark my interest in early Porsches ...

Same for me too.

Watched him fly up the midland hills in the white 911 3.5 to win the Midland Championship in around '87.
Don't think i really knew what a 911 was then, beyond my pay-grade.
5 years later I was on the same hills in my 911 which I still have.

Was always willing to give straight advice when I asked, never pushed for me to buy from/use Autofarm.

Still hillclimbs occasionally enthusiastically!

Happy birthday even if he can't hear me!

This popped up recently and was an interesting read - typically understated account of events from Josh.

Yes, that article sums it all up. He drove over the roof of my MGB GT going to Prescott one morning being chased by 2 other people. The days of drive it there, do it, drive it back is thankfully still alive on the hills.

Best way to hillclimb imho.

I'm getting close to going back to those roots.

If that’s not a typo it needs a bit more explanation!
