Does anyone have a good picture of the small bracket attached to the front partition panel which holds the water sprayer bottle?
Thanks

Resto thread for 119100008 69t
Last question guys.
I have some holes on the underside of the Floor in each corner?
Surely they can be drainage as there are on holes on the inside of the floor. Any ideas?

Re: Resto thread for 119100008 69t
Hello,
Can anyone tell me if minor scratches on the anodised window frames can be polished out?
Any idea what product if any?
I’m sure I read leave alone when it comes to restoring the frames if you can get away with it?
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Re: Resto thread for 119100008 69t
Don’t ask me, I just ripped all the anodising off!
I had no success at all getting scratches out of the anodising, tried everything so ultimately just sanded them back with multiple grades and then polished them. After a year and all forms of weather they seem to be holding up with zero maintenance.
All I’d advise is if you start sanding them back you have to finish, and it’s a whole load of work including the rear 1/4 windows.

Re: Resto thread for 119100008 69t
I left mine well alone for the last 35 years, too much hard work!
They are all original 1973 with a lot of scars, but be Yong 3 feet away you can't see anything bad.
, bit like my whole car really!

It's thicker gauge than the bodywork, say 2mm.

Re: Resto thread for 119100008 69t
Hello all.
Sorry for so many questions. Thought I’d ask a few relating to what I can do while the car is having metal work.
The indicator housing rubbers, do they have to be glued in position prior to the lenses going back on?
If so what glue is normally used ?
Thanks Lee

Re: Resto thread for 119100008 69t
If you mean the rubber between the unit and the lenses, I'm pretty sure mine (1970) had a slot cut in the foam which pressed onto the edge, and no glue apparent.
