Sadly clashes (as ever) with one of my Championship rounds at Shelsley Walsh.
But, if the year is going badly due to fresh competition, a road trip to watch would be a great idea, then onwards to a wider road trip we are planning this year to Austria.

I'm surprised it has become so easy to enter. A few years ago it was " You must have FIA approved this and that " etc.

Epic adventure!!

I think the difference is that there are effectively two events in one, a round of the French championship (presumably with full FIA overtones) and the supporting 'party event'.

That makes sense to me from previous 'advice' by others who have done it.
Still a great adventure, I'm green!
Trish thought the idea of a road trip to the event and then onwards was a good idea...

Your car would go down a storm, I'm sure. Mine will be popular because it will guarantee others don't come last.

I can promise you will not be last. I might have an entry for my 356. I got an email from the organizer and someone cancelled. See you there!!

Joined the Porsche Classic Register and collected these grille badges from my local dealer. There is also a purple/green hippy one available in the range.

Discovered how unobtainable and expensive an actual Leitz roof rack is, which allowed me to convince myself that the QSC version was the "sensible" option....

Irked that only one side of the gutter clamp has rubber on it and that whilst the arms to rack bolts are coach bolts so have some tamper proofness the the gutter clamps are standard 5mm allen key...

Tamper proof bolts and clear fuel hose to be added.

Hi Keith, we did that event in 2007 I think, really great track, the food tent is magic, Your 14 will be ideal there, but do look out for the Simca's they're rapid.

Here are a couple of pics, great countryside, beautiful views, but please remember you're in France.....the guys just stop anywhere a flap it out for a pee---the British girls find that a bit weird/amusing (as they can't !!)
