This is the quieter (78dB), TüV-approved, ‘Sport’ version of Eisenmann’s 2-in, 2-out RSR optic exhaust muffler.

Fabricated to the highest quality in 1.4512 grade stainless steel to give a sound more akin to the OEM Porsche exhaust signature sound, which most owners prefer over that produced by the T304 grade.

It is painted in light grey VHT paint with brushed stainless steel 70mm-diameter outlet tips with perforated mesh internally.

Eisenmann exhausts all attach using the factory mounts and connector / flange points, so the diameter of flanges etc would be as the factory exhaust.

Note that bolts and gaskets are not supplied with the exhaust however, but a pair of new genuine Porsche stainless steel muffler straps bought separately from Kirk are included.

I have decided in the interests of maximum accuracy to fit my megaphone exhausts to my 2.5 SR (it will be kept at Greatworth, so no risk of neighbours calling the police when I fire it up early on a Sunday morning), so this is surplus to requirements and is still in its original box and is untouched.

Can be viewed at swap meet on Sunday on request.

£900.

(Should add that the photos of the light yellow 2.5 ST and engine is Gib Bosworth’s money-no-object replica of the Toad Hall Racing SR which used the same exhaust muffler, so a pretty good endorsement)

Hi,
Can you tell me if the dimensions on the drawing are of your muffler,or the one on Gibbs car?

Eisenmann 2-in, 2-out RSR-optic exhaust muffler

The drawing was supplied to me back in January, by Roy at Crest Automotive, the UK distributor for Eisenmann Exhausts (www.catune.co.uk), who I bought the exhaust from. The drawings are therefore of my exhaust not Gib’s (on his thread he couldn’t even remember which company he got it from and someone had to point out that it was an Eisenmann!)

Hi Matt
Do you still have the muffler? If so where are you based. I could be interested, would you take £850?
Thanks Mike

Hi
I’ve actually decided to keep it in case I get stopped by the rozzers and have to take my megaphones off - I hear noise cameras are being trialled at the moment…
