Night-time temps down south are still looking reasonably balmy for the next couple of weeks, so maybe we'll get a bit longer salt free yet.

Graham:
Yes, Carding Mill before the Crowds arrived and a chaos of school kids too (7 coaches).
Cauliflower curried pastie for lunch in the Cafe there...tooo good.

Salt will soon be arriving. Trying to find a good place to run the 911 before that happens.

maverick
noun

2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

I went wanting to hate his 914, but in the flesh it’s actually kinda cool. Damn it.
Don’t suppose you’re still out there?

I’m having a grumpy moment and feel like going to the LA motor show to snap myself out of it.

Lowestoft?

I’m having second thoughts now anyway, a flight price of $500 piqued my interest but hotels want £300+ a night.
