Can I just say good luck for any company waiting for the supply chain to stabilise with 10% plus inflation.

Yeah, 4 years now of "next year" and I have given up. If they told me they are only making 20 cars a year and they are £100,000 more. Then so be it. Take a ticket. But I think there is something deeper than just not getting a container on time or it costing 4 times as it did in 2018.neilbardsley wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 7:48 am Can I just say good luck for any company waiting for the supply chain to stabilise with 10% plus inflation.
Mid 70s Yank Tanks are so lush. The doors weigh as much as my car.

Is that Honda K20 engined? If so I looked at that a few years back but needed it to work on the road which it wouldn’t. Stonking thing though.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Way back in 2008 I was looking for an interesting car to replace my hot Subaru Impreza for road/hillclimbing. The Banks was on a list and iirc you could have a variety of engines, the S2000 I would think was available.
The cost was the problem, in fact the cost of everything on my list was as everything was north of £30K, Ginetta/Dare to Crossle to others.
The Lola at £10K seemed cheap!
however, that was not the case....

Or a Volkswagen Beetle with a glassfibre body...
Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Looks can be deceiving!
It is as KS suggests a VW based replica.
I have never seen one before but I was really impressed.
No 356 rust problems, no more really expensive parts.
Unfortunately this one had broken down.
