Great news that some of your problems are resolving themselves.
The museum looks great.
Hope you enjoy Amsterdam and have fun there and my fingers are still crossed for you continuing without too much drama.

Great thread, and I'm sure you will love Amsterdam. Was there a couple of weekends ago. 900K bikes and 2.2 million km rode per day!

Thank you. 720 plus postage and machine are a bit beyond my budget. I think I will try to rebuild mine myself first

Unfortunately the email address is invalid

I'm still hoping to be able to take it apart and clean it to fix the problem

We are in Amsterdam to Friday. Our pace has slowed down.

Our shed in the rear garden of the hotel is quiet. Except when other guests decide to sit directly outside the window and talk on their mobile. The sight of a semi clad, hairy, 50 year old man banging on the window had them running away.

We attended a food tour of the Jordaan district. Us and 11 Americans. 4 from Texas who had a full breakfast just before coming! Mrs B wasn't impressed when I noted out loud that the Texans had gone big or gone home. It's nice to do these events but London has many things to offer like this. Unlike Dallas :)

After a Traditional meal at the Pantry we headed to a pool/games place. Normally Mrs kicks my butt at table football and other games but we managed to find one where I could win. Shuttlefly a bit like curling but no ice. However, there are brushes for the sand.

Found a large model of a sunroof 356. Didn't dare ask the price

It's all been a mental week at work. Bit like waking up in a battle. If the Bank of England hadn't intervened in the gilt market then think 2008 but worst again.
