Lovely car and welcome. I have a two-owner (well, I’m the third) Porsche Salzburg-supplied and Austrian-resident ‘72 S in Tangerine.

Good morning

Thank you all for your kind comments the car is mostly stock aside from the engine which has been upgraded to 2.7 spec it certainly helps with moving it along rather quickly.

My location is Beaconsfield

I bought the 2.4S from a gentleman from Pontypool who had bought the car in early 1987 from TVR Coventry for £3650.00 and after 25 years ownership i was fortunate to become the next custodian of the the car in 2011

The owner had the car painted Lipstick pearl Red BLING

It looked pretty good however looks can deceive as was discoverred it was really quite rotten and necessitated major surgery

A full strip and an end to end restoration was undertaken the results i think speak for themselves

Refinished today back to its original factory finish of Silver / black, while retaining the MFI the engine was rebuilt to 2.7

My 2.4s when I first purchased the car Lipstick Red was not a colour to my liking and during the restoration it was painted back to the original colour it left the factory in
More subtle though I think whilst understated it stands the test of time in Silver
