You might have missed a trick there Rob...

What better birthday activity than giving all the kids their own angle grinder and setting them to work....

Best birthday ever!

Oh and on my newly liberated car.. fixed the fuel sender, (why would you expect a new one to work out of the box) and refitted the bungees on the door pockets so that they'll now take your fingers off if you're not careful. Then went to a car show in Tewin

Rob, I strongly suggest you report this matter to the police. Someone came onto your property to steal something. You really need a record of this. I suspect it will come back again sometime. Also voice the damage she did to your car and the suspected keying. Ps trespass isn't a crime but assault and damage are.

On a more boring subject. Oil change with full synthetic for the trip. It's the most I've ever spent on oil. It also occured to me that we are away every weekend before the trip so that is it for the pre nowImage

As you rightly say, trespass is a civil matter but they came on to my property to obstruct and disrupt my activity and with the intention to deter me from it, so it's aggravated trespass - provided what I was doing was lawful in the first place. (On top of assault, criminal damage and probably a breach of the peace.) I don't think they'll be taking matters into their own hands again.

Here we go - got the cctv. At this point, I am mainly just telling my missis to go back in the house and not engage with them. Anything could be happening behind that olive tree - a kiss and a cuddle.

Wow, played out exactly as described!

Personally I would leave it there after the apology unless you think they are really likely to do criminal damage; I have to say they don’t look like car - keyers to me….

Drove my 912 from Hastings to the Viva Skeg Vegas VW show at Revesby Estate near Skegness. A 450 mile round trip without any mechanical issues.

Car is a pleasure to drive on a long journey (with ear plugs) and only used £100 of super plus shich dosen't seem too bad.

IMHO, best left alone, and if a repeat happens in the future you have that video.
The Police will only do something (maybe) if the law has actually been broken, in your case it has been, esp the assault.

But she has apologized, and you have accepted that so i would just let it be.
