Re: 1969 912 LWB
September 2021 I started to build bumpermounts.
In October I finally got some new parts that I didn't want to build myself from sheetmetal.. :D
Also got a pair of used exhausts that will become one 2-in-2-out sport exhaust...

Fiberglass rear bumpercorners were so crooked they needed som corrections too...
Re: 1969 912 LWB
Got the bumpers done during Christmas holidays..
Welded the bottoms of the rear frames in March this year.
Here with the prefabbed bumpermount
Tackwelded the enginemounts.
Also finally found an enginemount for an affordable price...
Bought an old Luisi steeringwheel from 1982 two weeks ago... :inlove:

In April I actually got some tweaking and fitting of small details that I started working on ages ago... :D
Re: 1969 912 LWB
Yesterday I took me some time on the garage and got the left side done. Decided to fix that first as it was more work.
Took some feelgood photos while I had it rolled out too.

Yesterday I welded the right side too.
Not as pretty transition to the wing as I didn't want to replace the overlap lip on this side. But it will be covered with lead later anyways.
