The very first drive....

Lots to do on polishing, and letting things and seals settle before gapping tweaks.

Not too bad considering it conked on the way for tuning yesterday because the brand new starter motor gave up the ghost... and that at lunch time today it didn't have any seats or a back, or headlights...

R21 PCGB event and concourse (and on the way home in St Albans...congrats to monochrome (?) (Idiot with names me) for winning the concourse outright..

Car looks great. Is that right hand mirror usable? I've heard they're difficult to position.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Thanks Tom, James, Rob,

Yup the backside needs to come down loads and umming and ahhing about adjustable spring plates at the back but then how often am I likely to change it.

The mirror is OK and is about as useful as the left one... i.e... good for parking

Got approached a few weeks ago to have the 911 used in a photoshoot. Not a terrible way to spend a Monday morning.

Though obviously disappointed that they didn't take up the opportunity of using my middle age self to pose with the car ImageImageImageImage
