Deser make a nice replica of the original earl911 Recaro sport seat with almost identical seat recliner mechanisms. But their 911R and RS early rally seats don't really come close to the original Vintage Seats 911R seats out of the States. That is what I am offering Andy. So far he hasn't responded. I'll give him a few more days and then offer it up to the group here on the DDK.
Cheers

IMO the Vintage Seats replicas are (If they're still the same as when Michael Eberhard owned the company) the best Recaro bucket seat copies available ...

Hi Andy,
That's the one I have. Actually Peter Z started VintageSeats in the early 2000's. If I recall correctly, Michael bought the company from Peter around 2010, before Michael himself sold the company a few years later.
As Andy stated, these are the best early 911 rallye seats made for long hood 911/912 cars you can buy. They are the exact replicas of the originals right down to the gel coat material and rivets. They are even better than the originals because the gel coat from the seats produced in the 1960's is aged and weakened after 60+ years of chemical breakdown and flexing thru hard turns. These seats are feather light without the heavy seat consoles. Also, the seat I am offering comes with a head rest.

Has anyone seen Historika’s 911R seats IRL?
They do look nice in pictures.

I had a pair of their 'ST' seats in perforated black vinyl with cord centres which I sold to another DDKer last year.

The quality was excellent ...
