RHD long hood wing mirror mounting hole locations

Post by deano »

Would anyone be able to provide fairly precise measurements for these mounting holes please for an original RHD, or paper templates, or just close-up photos?

Ideally need it for both sides, but most importantly the passenger side mirror whose position is not obvious.

(drivers side hole positions is fairly obvious within +- 5mm ish because there are markings inside the door frame, but more accuracy would be reassuring thing to have)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give! cheers, Dean :bounce:

It doesn’t answer your question, but like we spoke at C&M I still think just leaving the LH mirror off is the better option. :)

I fear that it might veer to one side on the motorway if I do that :P

Nah, the car is so tiny it doesn’t matter if you are a few feet to one side

... and how do you avoid scraping your drivers-side wheel arch on the garage door frame if you don't have a mirror - been there, done that....
