Looking for a great classic Porsche? This one should be on your very short list. This matching numbers 1972 911 T has a lot going for it not least that, being a 1972 model, it is the rare 'oelklappe' model with its one-year-only side oil filler.

For starters, the 2.4 engines are great to drive, with good power delivery and torque. This particular one has the benefit of the MFI (mechanical fuel injection) which was fitted for only a short time to this model, and not all ‘T’’s have it.
The Letter of Origin states a production date of June 1972, with first registration in July 1972 in the US. It also confirms it is matching 2.4 litre Type 911/51 engine (US version with mechanical fuel injection making 140 bhp) and Type 915/02 5 speed gearbox.

Optioned in Light Ivory (paint code 131) with black leatherette interior and 15 inch Fuchs light alloys (400), retractable antenna and 4 speakers (440), Equipment Package (470) and tinted glass (568).

The colour is not seen often, and lends itself to a little personalisation – this one has been given black stripes on the bonnet and ‘PORSCHE’ door decals. Additionally, it is fitted with the ‘S’ spec front bumper and integrated spoiler, plus very nice period correct replica Recaro seats from BF Torino (‘Le Mans’ model in black leather). It also has three point inertia reel seat belts.

This 911 has a very honest appearance, supported by history that dates back to 1981. It came to the UK in July 2004, and in the last 15 years this 911 has enjoyed a life of leisure covering just over 1000 miles. Serviced and tuned in the last few hundred miles, it will also have a detailed and inspection report from our workshop.

Worth noting is how nice this 911 appears both on top and underneath, with a very neat interior, good instruments, carpets, dash top, steering wheel, seats and excellent Fuchs. The technical parts perform well.
As such, we consider it at the very top end of our strong driver quality Condition Grade 3 (out of 5), maybe even a 4 out of 5. Supplied with our classic Porsche warranty. We can share many more images, including the underside, plus videos and inspection findings.

UK registered, we can arrange Nationwide delivery and Worldwide export. Finance and part exchange available. Call sales on 01752 840307.

This is definitely a 911 to be enjoyed and priced at just £82,995, it ticks all the boxes!
