Hello Fellow members,

I wanted to find out, what is the process for getting my "Certificate of Authenticity" from Porsche for my Classic 1967 912

Any help, advice, forum links you could provide me with would be amazing.!

Hi there

I looked into this a little while ago and at that point at least I hit a dead end in terms of getting anything from the factory. Apparently the process that used to be possible is no more, pending review….

All I really wanted to know was the options fitted, colour and just confirm engine was matching so I got a copy of the Kardex, effectively the factory warranty sheet that confirms this all and in my case the first owner.

Got mine from David Pateman in Canada. Properly organised chap who also lets you have a glossary / translation for all the main options etc. It cost 230CAD. You can get him at

Hope it helps. Ant
