Glorious T.....
Wonderful car and even more wonderful owner
Considering it's DDK heritage and ownership history surely it's worth at least £200K

Re: Glorious T.....
Lovely car. Doubt it will hang around.
I’ll never forget Vicki’s face laughing in my rear view mirror while the RSR was navigating what can only be described as a ploughed field on one of James’s ‘special stages’ in Europe somewhere….

Pretty sure Vicky and the car were on the ring / spa trip when you had the silver 993 Graham.
Such a great colour and sub £70k for any sound early car is unusual these days.

Re: Glorious T.....
I had a lot of fun in that car, esoecially on the DDK Scottish trip in May 2007 and at a trackday at Silverstone.
I didn't import the car, I ought it privately in Kent in 2006. It's June 71 build 2.2 with a 2.4T engine on carbs, I can't remember if it was converted here or in the USA, the engine number should tell you that. It was white when I bought it but it was stored outside that freezing winter and the paint suffered with microblisters so was blasted and repainted in the original Pastel Blue. There was minimal rust at the front and windscreen lower corners and the corners of the rear parcel shelf which we repaired correctly. There was no rust anywhere else, original lead in all the right places, B pillars and sills were perfect, underside all original, not welded and all original sealer in place.
I fitted the D'Eser replica seats and new salt and pepper carpets, the rest of the interior was really nice.
I haven't seen the car for many years so it's good to hear that it still shows well. I hope it finds a good home and my best wishes to Vicki
