25th May Caffeine & Machine - Air Cooled Appreciation
If all goes to plan I should be there in the 911…
I’ve bought a ticket so it’s got to happen!

I'm gonna put this in my diary and go if the weather's good. I'll probably aim to rock up before 5pm for early food.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I’m intending to make it in my S - if it ever arrives from Dr.K! All paid incl VAT and transport fees but still waiting!

Re: 25th May Caffeine & Machine - Air Cooled Appreciation
Just booked my solo ticket today, 9 May, so places left.
Hope I can navigate the food ordering system!
Just have to fix my clunking sound on the NSR, driveshaft CV bolts loose I think, and open the 2 in and 3 out 'silencer' as I'm flying solo.

What a thought!
Last time the car was shown in public in Shrewsbury summer fair the thing was swamped (and damaged!).
Be good to remove the silencers mind....

I’d hope the C&M attendees would be respectful.911hillclimber wrote:What a thought!

Worth dropping a note to Phil as I’m sure he’d find you an appropriate spot

Re: 25th May Caffeine & Machine - Air Cooled Appreciation
Could be too much like hard work!
I feel I need some respite from the Lola, and the 911 is sitting there and needs to get some miles in.

The orange 911T still has the glass out but still tentatively planning to come in the 3.2.

Really want to join you all but don’t want to come in my daily driver I-Pace so it’ll have to be next month now unfortunately (assuming DVLA don’t take forever to register the orange (which they probably will this time))…
