Is your fabulous car a very early ‘72 MY Gary? (the J plate on it had me wondering…)

Brakes now done, rear ARB on, rear suspension all tightened up, rear bumper mounts modified to take arch liner mounts, painted and back on.

Wipers fitted, interior mirror fitted…

Tomorrow is final fit of arch liners, drop the seats in and… maybe, just maybe drive it out of the garage… :)

I'm sure it doesn't feel like it to you but to us 'onlookers' the 'refit' seems to be progressing at a lightning speed ...

Looking forward to seeing the finished car at some point (how about a grand unveiling ?) - unfortunately I won't be at CLM.

Cheers Andy, definitely feels glacial this end!

I’ve booked Caffeine & Machine on 25th May (assuming is not throwing it down!) so that’s as close to an ‘unveiling’ as I’m likely to get :)

Lightning speed to me Gary. So much so I was beginning to wonder if you still had a job or a family.

Wonderful progress and of course the colour is so nice. Love it.

Regards
Mike

It moves!

In and out of the garage and down the close and back was enough for the first drive as the geometry is so far out it barely steers :)

Now got a couple of days to adjust it well enough so it will get to the local place for a corner weight and geo set on Thursday.

Could also do with some door seals, and some carpet and another seat… but those are mere details!

Two lengths of string or fishing line down both sides will do enough.
I will be interested in the place you use as very very few I know will do corner weighting.
