Indeed.
The real saving grace for the MINI is that I'd rather have a big shunt in the MINI than my 911.

Saw a Mk1 Cortina GT the other day, a real beauty, Lotus steel rims and all that, fabulous in RED, but the driver's neck so so vulnerable to whip lash. No head restraints of course and possibly lap belts at best.

Cars of a different age when you had to focus on your driving.
I feel i have to super focused when driving my 911 anywhere.

Statistically you have to do about 11 million miles before you’re killed or seriously injured while driving a car. And a light, fast car is more likely to be able to avoid a crash and a small car is less likely to be hit.

I’ll take those chances rather than resort to driving something like that Mini.

You expect me to fall for that?

Look at them rear discs. Someone clearly dumped that on your drive years ago.

maverick
noun

2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.
