Are they original wheels? The tyres look too big as well to my eye.

For me it's the US spec. side repeaters, so many beautiful italian cars lines ruined, the 246 Dino and Maserati kamsin especially...

For a good while I sat the number plate flat on top of the dash and whenever I passed the cops I reached over and lifted the near edge up with a finger so they could see it. If I saw them looking I just smiled and winked to express my gratitude to them for cutting me some slack. I think most cops are a bit more flexible with an old car. They're more likely to ask how old it is and what the engine is than cause you grief.
