SC ENGINE NUMBER

HI could anyone tell me what year and if it is a 2,7 or 3.0 motor?
The engine number is 6291880 and the Type is 901/09

That engine no and type is a 1969 2 litre 911E

Yes thanks for your reply i also found that that is the case but the engine number does not fall into the 1969 zone it seems to be a 1979 sc according to the engine number but the engine type for 79 is 930/04 ????

1969 911E engine nos are in the range 629 0001 - 629 2770

Andy you are 100% correct thank you . Just found my copy of 911&912 Porsche by B. Johnson and its all in there.

This car belongs to a mate of mine its a 1976 Targa with an incorrect motor .
