Porsche 912 1967 swb lhd

I’ll be formally advertising my 912 next week and taking photos etc over weekend. I thought I’d mention on here first just in case anyone is looking or knows of someone who is.

I’ve owned the car since 2010 and actively used it, loving every minute and gradually improving it I believe back to close to original losing some of the aftermarket bits it had picked up,over the years.
Left hand drive California car with a nice history file with no obvious gaps. There are some great tax documents in from LA and Hollywood etc together with their version of tax or mot etc.
Matching numbers.
Imported to UK around 2000 and restored by an enthusiast rather than a marque specialists. Floor pan, jacking points and the normal hot spots dealt with and now a very sold, on the face of it largely rust free car. The only exceptions are the odd bubble that comes through on front wings which sand back and fill and normally stay good for a couple of years but lead loading would solve, certainly doesn’t need new wings. Areas of small bubbles are away from structural and cavity areas so largely superficial I believe.

RSR 12 distributor from Andy Prill
Quick shift kit
Busche extractor exhaust.
4 speed.
Set of 5 genuine 5.5x 14 Fuchs which were specked as the comfort option although sadly wrong date code being a year or so too late I believe. Shod with 185 70 vresdestein Sprint Classics which I put on new a couple of years ago.
Refurbed brake callipers by specialists.
Interior very tidy with new salt and pepper carpet and sourced original rubber floor mats.
Original seats which have correct basket weave and Bakelite steering wheel.
Porsche cert of authenticity.
Signal red.
I plan to advertised as a fixed priced sale at £45k as it saves the dance around offers and people travelling and expecting to pay peanuts and getting upset, I think everyone knows where they stand then and certainly when I’m buying I prefer certainty of knowing what I’m thinking about.
