1973 911S on eBay. Currently at 50,000 Euros. It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

Wow! The Gelo RSR has always been at the top of my list of 'wants'... Now may be the only chance I have. Trouble is, it's only a very, very slim chance that they'll accept my Renault 4 in exchange. Sigh...

Definitely a bargain. That's ebay though - it's gone by the end of the week to the highest bidder. Must be a good chance it's gone to a trader who will sit it out for 50% more.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I thought we'd already commented on this on here https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/197 ... 11-e-targa

But reading the comments. it's pretty cringeworthy!

.

It's a bit premature for April Fools' jokes isn't it ?

- hand-made steel body
- featuring flared aluminium wheel arches
- the first of only four examples built
- the 'bored out' engine nonsense
etc

I can't believe someone thinks it's even worth the current bid ...

I posted a pic of the rear some months ago, largely because I was amused at the quad pipe exhaust. It was on eBay for a pretty high Buy it Now price IIRC. The pics were all taken in Spain which is where the car was said to be located.

The front bumper is fugly, and reminds me of a 964 backdate rear bumper, with the middle aged spread feel about it.
