1970 911T, Signal orange (Restoration thread)
1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Re: porsche vid. of the day
Now, that is what you call a brilliant film.
Really enjoyed that one Keith, what a great film with a great cast. Never knew why Swinford Motors, my local OPC at the time, was involved.
I owe NF a beer for the tactic to rescue a wayward 911 by letting go of the steering wheel with opposite lock on hard catching the first slide and planting the throttle, the car 'self applies' opposite lock faster than anyone to catch the pendulum effect of the next slide.
Worked for me on a hill climb when it was all going out of shape, Armco looming quickly.
Been a good morning on several counts, cherry on the cake with this one.

Re: porsche vid. of the day
It was Nick's party piece, so to speak, and what he was best known for back in the day. Somewhere I've got a great photo of him, tail out in an RS, with both hands in the air.neilbardsley wrote:I've hear that advice from Nick from another DDK member too
