To be fair. The only person hinting of retirement here is me! And I don't think I have that much influence!
Indeed.
I see he was officially Knighted this week, Prince Charles with the sword.
A great example to all young people.
Over the year, and esp when it got really serious, the LH/MV races shadowed every other team, both at times were way ahead of all the rest.
Shows how solid competition brings out the best in a team.

Lots of epic championships have been decided with controversies and are regarded as 'unfair', but nevertheless in the end were and always will be epic....
I do feel that the decisions made by FIA at Abu Dhabi were incorrect and rules were bent. Bent too far? Yes...
Well... You can argue they did, so where does that leave us? It went the way it did and there are no do-overs.
So there's no way to know (for a 100% certainty) what the outcome would have been if the decisions were made differently.
If my uncle had been a female, it would have been my aunt...
What if Mercedes had made a pitstop what would have happened then? What if all the lapped cars would have gotten the permission to overtake immediately when the yellow flag situation occured? What if it would have become a red flag situation? What if Hamilton had to give the position back in the first lap? What if... We just don't know and cannot know.
If Abu Dhabi was an injustice -and you can, as I already stated, argue that- there is only one thing you can do: call the whole race invalid.
Then there would have been no injustice commited: no winner, no points, no controversies.
What other unbiased and fairer solution would there be?

Then Max still wins on count back because he won more races.

Yes, that was -indeed- a farce, but no rules were bent there and it wasn't a championship decider...
