Insurance renewal - G series 3.2
I've just has my insurance renewal for next year for my 1989 3.2 CS on a Classic policy ( KGM Via Manning ) with agreed valuation. Hitherto I've had included track day cover although I've not used it for years, however they've now removed it, evidently because the insurer had to pay out on a Total loss claim at Anglesey. Typical insurance, when they loose they cancel it, also the premium has still increased! Anyway now I really should look at changing, can anyone recommend companies to consider for this type of vehicle please?

You will get a lot of companies that will over you, my name to put forward would be Hagerty.
They can tailor the cover you need.
Many others will do the same, so you will have a good choice.

RH Classics for all of mine last 10 years. Always seem to be best premium every year and guaranteed value is a doddle.

I've just used Hagerty's on-line tool, result is coming in about 3 x my current renewal, also RH quoted me last year and were about 20% above the then renewal. Maybe I'm on the best deal already!

Ditto, 964 and heavily modified race car with them, as was the 914/6 before it.Jonny Hart wrote:Another vote for Classic Line (especially if your car is modified).hot66 wrote:mine are with Classic Line

Are Classic Lines ok with agreed values?
Who do they approach the subject?

PCGB valuation service if over a certain threshold, I can’t remember what it is Graham. Any recognised car club though. Both of mine are on an agreed value basis

Re: Insurance renewal - G series 3.2
Hagerty have their own scales.
I used that and then discussed it with them as I thought it a bit coarse for the tweaks I have on my 911
I was happy, but always open to fresh approached.

Well, I have a highly modified 914EV with 300HP. All modifications declared, I just asked for a 60k agreed value and they ran some numbers. Limited mileage (8k). Fully comp £300.911hillclimber wrote:Are Classic Lines ok with agreed values?
