I sort of thought the Trump / BoJo / A-team movie trilogy was the ultimate expression of how humanity has lost its way and no longer understands the difference between right and wrong.

And then:

The world thinks this lovely 2.4 E - https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/197 ... -911-e-2-4 - is worth half as much as this thoroughly meh ‘RSR’ - https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/197 ... recreation

Some days I struggle to see that the human race will ever refind what’s truly important. I’m going to go for a very long walk to clear my head.

I’m no sepia fan boy but the other car is paint to sample from a 2016 Barratt Homes kitchen door.

The Sepia car was painstakingly restored with a great attention to detail by Lee and at great expense. Over 6 figures I believe. We discussed the restoration a few times. It took many years from start to finish. With originality the key, a colour change should never have been on the cards even if it is not everyone’s favourite shade. This was not just any old restoration but done by someone with a penchant for getting the details right. You will notice hundreds of details the owner wanted correct. It’s a fine example of a concours restoration keeping it as close as possible to how it left the factory. That was the remit for this car and not a shiny car in a bright colour change.

Mike

unless you're the seller who's driven 38 expensive miles since the completion of the resto; down at least £15k + the cost of the car 10 years ago...
maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Hugo WTF!
Seller obviously was happy to sell or he wouldn’t have lowered or set reserve so low.
I was only stating that car sold cheap suggesting great deal for buyer.
