Unfortunately it has gone the way of most "classic" mags, in that for those of us who have knowledge of the cars involved, there is little new information, and I have to say I feel it has been that way for several years. The Internet has outstripped the printed media when genuine cars of historical interest appear, as such by the time they appear in print, the story has already been available for several weeks or months.

As such the current batch of Porsche mags are more attractive to those new to the marque or are wishing to take the first step into classic ownership and not us experienced folk.

Classic Porsche is the only subscription I have, due mainly to my desire to support Keith's original project, and with the recent editions, I'm afraid to say it will be my last
Cheers

Mike

Likewise my subscription is due for renewal next month and it will not be happening - It is no longer what it was, which is a shame, but they changed it and made it what it is now.

In my view car magazines have been going downhill since adverts like this stopped appearing:
4A9351A8-5B6C-4EAD-A55A-510C20E16BAB.jpeg
Best bit: ‘I knew CONtACT 18 wasn’t a gimmick when one of the girls at work quite out of character, seduced me when we were alone in the office.’

Taken from Performance Car March 1992 which I am presently reading and marvelling at how the ‘electric cars aren’t the answer’ editorial is unchanged in 30 years.

I made the same point on Impact Bumpers, plus last month's issue had a photo of a 3.2's engine bay in a review of an SC.

I too am out. KS please come back!
