Loton Park Hillclimb 25/26th September

Post by jwhillracer »

There's a great entry of Porsches at the last round of the British and Midland championships at Loton this weekend.
6 Porsches in the road-going class, including Ross in his beautiful Carrera back-date
4 Porsches in modified, including JW and Laura in the now quiet(ish!) 911 Carrera, and Midland Championship leader    Yellow491 in his (only slightly????) modified 911 RSR 8)
Oh, and in the Sports Libre, some local guy in a Lola with the wrong engine...........

Come along and cheer us on, practice on Saturday, and the Championship event on Sunday.

Cheers!

Or alternatively, head south west to Wiscombe Park on Sunday to cheer on the only Porsche in the field (well, hopefully not literally in the field…). Have fun JW - I know I will!

Jonathan see if you can blag a drive in the Lola, before it becomes a fire breathing monster over the winter ;)
Cheers

It’s a bit late now Mike, last event of the season. Graham is probably going to start taking it apart by 07.00 Monday morning!

I would be slackin' delaying it that long....

The Porsche runners are magic to watch, a great Championship.
I hope Paul can wrap it up this weekend, Porsche at the Top (last time was Josh Saddler in the 80's?), DDK'rs everywhere.

Must add a bigger fire extinguisher to the 2022 mods list as it will be breathing fire I'm told!
We shall see how big the flames are in April.

Car needs a driver a 1/3 of my age.

Nigel Garland won the Midland Hillclimb Championship at least once after Josh, driving the same beautiful 3.5 litre “RSR”
