Looking for a car.

Post by ditchvisitor »

Afternoon, I’m on the lookout for something fun and aircooled, preferably quick/sorted suspension and useable, doesn’t need to be immaculate.
Thanks in advance

Worth trying collecting cars.

I just bought this

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/197 ... -911-2-7-1

I ended up paying strong money but I got the heads up from the specialist that did most of the work that tens of thousands had been spent, engine, clutch, suspension and brakes.

Absolute joy to drive, fast, great ride, and a little patina adds to the charm.

I think I saw you this afternoon driving through Alderley Edge (I was in a red Defender and not my usual 912) - your new car looked and sounded awesome!!!

I don't think you've overpaid. That's a great car. Now you just need somewhere to drive it to, speaking of which... https://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewt ... =8&t=68972 It's an hour from Northampton - I have to drive an hour to get there from Lichfield but it works as a special occasion / evening out.

2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.
