May be a stupid question but I've never been before and don't know anything about this place, also their video doesn't work. What does one get for nearly £20? Isn't this just a dealer / specialist selling Porsches, parts and / or service ?

Large air cooled Porsche gathering in a lovely setting around a lake, with various porsche related dealers selling everything from clothing, wheels, watches etc, chance to look around Frank Cassidy's personal fantastic collection of cars in his bespoke built garage and to see ongoing projects at Autofarm.
Went last year and really enjoyed meeting up and chatting with people who'd travelled far and wide to it.
Last year he did have a drive in cinema the night before but not on this year.
Making a weekend of it as it's a good drive down for us.

Thanks, I realised I have been there when I read on, as I visited Autofarm about this time last year. However I'd not appreciated the scale of things there.

We will be there, feel free to come over and say Hi.

It's a great chance to see so many rare and desirable Porsche in one place. Last year was a fantastic turn out and this year with the even being sponsored by Porsche amongst others i'm sure there will be plenty to see.

i'd be interested in peoples thoughts that went to this and have been previously. Is it the same stuff different day? I went to the first one and did enjoy it, but once you'd looked around Autofarm and Franks workshop there was nothing really else there apart from the car park, which was interesting with some nice cars. But it struck me that any future events would be more of the same?

It has been elevated this year. At least 20 vendors selling stuff etc. Much better lay out of interesting cars. More food stalls. I really enjoyed it and the rain stayed away while i was there. This was the best one yet.
Personally i don't need a funfair just a good excuse to drive my car and meet up with my mates. Are other car shows any different.?

Its not about a funfair, its the 3 hour boring motorway drive each way that means it has to be worth it. If it was only 30mins away it would be a no brainer.

How would you make it worthwhile for your 3 hour drive then. ?

Not be the same "special" cars and same format as the previous 2 years. In fact less because the first year it was a 2 day event.

It is what it is.A bit like Classics at the castle. Cars in a field with blokes chatting.
I went last year and there were plenty of different cars this year.
