Can you get 40s (or smaller) and make a jig out of wood, pilot hole dead centre and open them up with a hole saw?

Bought them. I have also ordered an appropriate 44mm saw drill. If my brother in law will not let me use this overhead drill I might be asking for a favour from the DDK family
