Congratulations and very well done! A First in Engineering doesn't happen by chance, but by years of hard work.
You've got a Summer project now sorting all the electrical gremlins in Dad's 914!
Cheers!

Had a 26 mile round trip to a spot familiar to many DDKers - the Ponderosa Restaurant on the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen. As always, there were a number of bikers there, but it wasn't crowded - probably because it was a weekday.
Great to hear the sound of the air-cooled flat 6 engine behind me!

Changed ignition switch – £11 from VW Heritage as it's a part common to many VAG cars into the 1990s. The old switch had started to play up – the engine wouldn't fire unless you wiggled the key at the same time as operating the starter. A dead easy job and just 20 minutes well spent!

I have a picture when I was first married about 40 years ago in the Channel islands with a hired Lambretta. Jeans and a light buff coloured jacket, 'desert boots' too.
Yesterday, I had the same stuff still on me, just my hair is silver now...
