Tacho Wire?

Post by neilbardsley »

My engine builder just called and the Tacho isn't working. We have removed the injection unit could the wire to the tach have gone through there? Where should the wire from the Tacho contact too?

Black wire with purple strip, I think. Goes via the wiring plate “pcb”

Can see where is enters on lower right & exits at top, on the way to the tachometer (terminal 1)

Attached to the coil. Runs along the bottom of the diagram to the “pcb” on the left. Exits then ends at “23”.

“23” appears on the other diagram, & connects to terminal 1 on the tacho.
