73 - 911T For Sale - This time with Pictures

Post by alfietom »

After so much deliberation I have decide to sell my beloved 911.
Totally Genuine Reason for sale - to fund a house purchase deposit for our son. Plus I'm just not using the car. We live down a filthy country lane and I keep the car totally immaculate so every time it gets driven it comes back with horse poo and mud all up the sides and arches.

The car is:
1973 911T 2.4 Long Wheel Base Car in Light Ivory - LHD (First registered in Italy in Dec 1973) so a European car.
imported into the UK in 1996

Certificate of Authenticity

Mileage is showing as 122,000 kms, which I believe to be correct.

The Car is a Matching Numbers Car with 915 5 speed Gearbox
I have owned the car for approx 5 years and have continued to improve it. Overall I would say its a 9/10 or maybe better?
The suspension has been replaced all round with a Bilstein Fast Road set up, at the same time I replaced all the steering arms, wheel bearings, hub carriers, brake discs and pads etc.
The car has a beautiful set of Fuchs Alloys that have been correctly refurbed (anodised) by Nick Moss
The interior is in very good condition / great condition.
The Engine bay is immaculate.
Fitted with a Classic Retrofit CDI unit and Coil
New Stainless exhaust fitted last year - 73 miles ago!

An Oil and Filter Change is carried out every 6 months - regardless of use.
An MOT is carried out every year despite being MOT exempt

I have just replaced all the front indicator housings and lenses (I have kept all the originals)
The car drives well and we take it up to Goodwood each year for the Revival and the odd sunny drive around Cornwall. I have never done any Track days or even driven the car hard. preferring to cruise taking in all the admiring looks and waves.

The car will go up for sale at a well known Porsche Specialist at £79,950
I will accept £75,000
