I extend my invite to you also
You are most welcome to come see the car while it is here & get an understanding of the situation

Please DM me if you would like to take up this genuine offer

If you are unable to visit there are 7 little walk around videos of the work I posted on twitter that anyone can see, you dont need a twitter account
just go to twitter and in the search bar type in

@classiccarguru1 914 video 1 of 7

Then click on the "show this thread" tab

Obviously this is just mobile phone footage, you're better seeing the car in the flesh

Kindest Regards

I thought I’d share 7 videos in this thread of a recent body restoration

have carried out on another #Porsche 914
The customer dismantled the car & will assemble
Another example of how we can work with you to accommodate your restoration & needs

Sam,

I am a volunteer
I have "worked" there since 2017 UNPAID
I sleep on the floor in the workshop 5 days a week in a sleeping bag
I do it because I love the opportunity to do the stuff I do

The car in question I have worked many days on FREE OF CHARGE

The only investment I have in the business is passion
Its not commercial

Please do not form opinions without understanding

The Originator of this thread here on DDK & the owner of the 914 both know this, but I wager they haven't told anyone

Paint looks spot on to me, only negative for me is that front wings still have the hole for those big horrible US side lights.

OK man, I’m sorry. I hope you can understand why I would think that you might be being paid to work there, I was just intrigued and meant no offence.

Darren, there's no point extending an invitation to me. Basic business rules state that the customer is always right. If your outfit is looking for word of mouth and repeat business, then this is not the way to go about it.
I have been in business for over 20 years and rely on word of mouth recommendations, your sort sighted view is naive and has zero business acumen. Get off your high horse and do the right thing

Think you should just do it as it seems some just want a slanging match. The OP hasn’t posted since first post. Isn’t benefitting anyone now...

Don't make Bootsy go and get Jackie....

Meanwhile, here is a picture of another Porsche, it's bigger than the last one and this time there is someone driving it.

Thank you Ollie- I have now got something useful from this thread- been wondering how best to use Pegasus decals- clearly the top of the wing should be parallel to the ground- fantastic!
Can you lock it now please Bootsy - before someone argues about this?
