This listing is from John Small.

The collection of cars really does exist but he rarely actually sells anything. He's had multiple identities on ebay and all the forums as he usually gets banned eventually. He's a grand attention seeker mainly. He's probably not out to rip anybody off, although he does owe me $1000.

I would be surprised if he sold a '64. More likely he's trying to get more attention. Perhaps he's got some more stripped out 912's to get rid of?

I spent two days with him in Sheridan, Wyoming in 2012. Nothing has a price, he just wants to know what you thinks its worth. We had over $100K in cash on the table but it was impossible to get anything out of him. We just went round and round in circles but he revelled in the attention.

Nick Moss went up there too some time before us. Same outcome.

I could post a link to the parts he's hoarding but it will just make you want cry.

.

I tried to buy a car from him in ~2005 (his username on Pelican at the time was 'Alekzandr') - even agreed a price - but when I asked for his bank details the communication/contact dried up ...

Also went by the name Bundox. When I was standing outside one of their rental buildings I noticed that was the name of the construction company that put the roof on it.

If you like attention have a big on site auction sell a few. Then restore the cream, you keep back, with proceeds but that will never happen.

Word on the ESR is that most of the very rare 64 parts have been removed years ago and sold leaving just a shell and a shopping list of very hard and expensive items to source.
