911 & Porsche World - Masterclass

Post by pauladev »

March issue - p.50 last paragraph of Mark Hales '911 Masterclass'

"Over the course of the next few months, we'll investigate the dynamics of all the Porsche models, beginning with various examples from the 911 range (rear-engined, old and new, two- and four-wheel drive). We'll then progress to the Boxster and the Cayman (mid-engined) and the 924,944 and 968 and the 928 (front-engined, rear drive)."

Anyone notice anything missing? Or doesn't it count as a 'real' Porsche!!

I for one am firing off a letter to the editor - anyone care to show some solidarity? Stand up and be counted at 'contacts' on

Fair point, as its takes more skill and expertise to get the most out of a 'lesser' powered vehicle.

Maybe knowing the history behind the picture of the GT above, this one should be removed?
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
