Chew Valley Rugby Club Classic Car Meet at Chew Stoke. Lovely to get back into the little worlds of people’s love affairs with their cars.

Out for a drive in the sunshine, which has been in short supply up here of late. Noticed a slight hesitation on acceleration, stopped to swap ignition packs and found a loose plug lead. Popped it back on and smooth power delivery returned ! Drove to Strangford and watch the ferry come in

When I bought the project pre a in boxes and fairly sad shape in general I certainly did not think that it would be 2020 when I take it on it’s maiden voyage to Porsche meeting. But better late than never.

Thank you for the compliments. I’m pleased how it turned out - however there are few things, that nobody else would not even notice, I would like to sort out still.

Drove the nuts off the Lola today at a clubbie Loton Park hillclimb to a class win.
Didn't expect that!
