drove it, did a little bit of shopping and a donation to the kennels then onto a few nice twisty lanes to go home. Washed it then put it back under cover.

Started to change rear discs to discover parking brake shoes were knackered and oil cooler to tank 'S' pipe was seriously perished. One hour job turns into 3 days....

True.... Pipe looked ready to explode any second however new one is made of such super-thick rubber that perhaps I'd have been good for another 20 years! For my next trick I'm going to change it without loosing tooooo much oil!

That traction engine is beyond words. I've had my Mamod since 1975.

Those steel trailing arms: are they old arms receiving new hubs/flanges/ends, or are they 100% new? If the latter, how are those tapering tubes made ... cast, or rolled sheet formed and welded?

Thanks in advance, John

Looks great JW

I hit 128mph on the back straight at Goodwood, the fastest outright speed I have ever achieved. Focuses the mind a bit....what is that rattle, new vibration, did I check the bonnet is closed, re-torque the wheel nuts etc!?!
