rear engine lid fitment

Hi,

Does the rear engine lid have spacers / washers between hinge and lid on the forward bolts to lift it up. I've no spacers and the engine lid sits to low. From memory i thought there were a couple of washers when i removed but was a long while ago.

It shouldn’t, but my car has for many years.

I’ve only corrected it recently by bending the hinges.
