Carrera GT

Post by Ignatzcatz »

The time was mid morning on Sunday, yesterday the 17th and I was out on my bike getting a few training miles in, training for what I'm not too sure about, however I was heading toward Bucks Green on the Haven Road down from the A29 the turning just North of Five Oaks, I could see ahead a black Macan and behind I heard another vehicle throttling back as the road is fairly narrow and two cars and one bike could be a squeeze. From the exhaust note I guessed the car behind me was something a bit tasty or a Corsa with a hole in it's muffler, but tasty it certainly was and turned out to be a silver Carrera GT all half a million quids worth. Wow! In my absolute delight I didn't get the whole registration which wasn't a personalised piece but the centre numbers were 10 which would be about right for a manufacturing date. With a Carrera GT not sure if you read DDK but there's hope.
Actually on my little Sunday tour round the lanes I saw two Caymans a 996 with a mountain bike type roof rack and a Boxster driven by a female quite possibly a hairdresser, no sorry I made that bit up, so that is six Porsches in a couple of hours. Who said there's no money in Sussex.

That was probably Sam in the Carrera GT (W10PSE) and his wife in the Macan Turbo.

No, it wasn’t me, my wife has a Honda Odyssey.

Also, I’m back at work now too and don’t know where Bucks Green is.
