One of the first cars I drove, other than our 1955 Beetle, was my Dad's Citroen ID19. I think my treatment of it nearly bankrupt him. :roll: I persuaded him to fit a new set of Cinturatos rather than the original equipment Michelin X's. I think they lasted about 3500 miles....
It was fast though, for a quite basic 1900 engine. Rust and endless trouble with the hydraulic suspension finished it off......
Annoyingly, he had reconditioned the engine in his previous Slough built Light 15, resprayed it and even re-chromed the radiator grille just before he sold it for £60.00 when I was 16 1/2! I used to post him adverts for Light 15's for sale later, when they became worth thousands. :)

Nice looking car - maybe a bit too long at the back for my taste.....

Peugeot have done some good stuff over the years - thinking mainly of the GTi!, 1.9GTi was my first company car and i loved it....

* whispers *

I’ve never Fully liked the Karmann Ghia or Razor. Both have nice elements but overall awkwardness.

I’ve grown to love both because scene nostalgia, but I’d rather have a type 3.
