Also PH was one of the creditors, so not in their interest to be seen to be involved too much...

There was I thinking there was tons of money in top end swanky showrooms!
I guess there is, but it’s someone else’s!
There have been a few of these “types” go pop recently. JD Classics springs to mind.
There’s another who asks top money for EVERYTHING, probably plus 50% the cars true value.
I will not name them here, but when they do flop I will say “told you so.”
Don’t worry though, they don’t do Porsches!
It doesn't matter if you speak your mind, because those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter.......!

I want to thank the two or three people here who steered me away from SCOM last year when I was looking to purchase an MV F4 from them - looks like the rumors were all true..

Re: Specialist cars of malton
There are 11 pages and they’re already down to model cars by page 2. Pages 3-11 must be full of fun.
A fairly well-known Essex engineer who owns an RS bought it in the 90s in similar circumstances, though he didn’t know he was buying it. He was just asked by a liquidator to bid on a lockup ‘full of Porsche bits’ and managed to build it back up to full matching numbers from the various bits laying around in the dusty corners.
I guess the new internet way ensures maximum value for the liquidators, but it’s loads less fun.
