Dansk 356 exhaust/muffler

Post by neilbardsley »

I know they receive lots of negative press but I bought one off Design 911 for about £200 and it when straight on no issues.

Just thought I would post a positive experience with this make

Well done for receiving an exhaust from Dansk that actually fits Neill, the old broken clock comes to mind.

The longevity of the exhaust before it falls apart was another issue in the past.

How easy was it to replace the exhaust Neil ? Can it be done with the engine in situ ?

Yes no need to remove the Engine. You just have to remove the tinware behind the Engine. The exhaust bolts are a pain. Just remember to put paste on all the joints with Engine and the straight pipes

I bought a Dansk exhaust too from Design 911 - it fitted pretty well, I only had to use the medium sized hammer to help tease it on :?
