It's a Pontiac Pegasus...

Lendrum and Hartman in Kings Street Hammersmith used to service my Opel Commodore in the 80's.
They were UK concessionaires for Cadillac, Buick and GM Europe.
The impatient American chap in front of me in the queue engaged in the following conversation with the Service Manager.

Customer. " I'm needing a front bumper set for my 78 Caddy and I need it yesterday."
Service Manager. " I'll consult the microfiche for a price and delivery date sir".
Customer. " Make it snappy, I'm in a hurry ".
Yawning Service Manager "Oh look I've found it. Approx 2 weeks shipping from the States Sir".
Customer. "So how much is it ?".
Service Manager. "£ 2850.00 Sir."
Customer. "I only want the F***ing bumper not a replacement motor !!! check your prices "
Service Manager. " I do apologize Sir, I always make the same mistake when pushed to do things quickly.
Looks like I forgot to add the VAT. The correct price is £ 2850 plus vat and shipping ------------
Customer. Any of you Guys wanna buy a 78 Caddie ? "
