Selling all parts for 911R project
It is with some regret that I have decided to abandon my 911R project. I literally have just about everything to build from a bare shell. From every bolt on and hinge panel, all suspension, lightweight interior, trim, seals, lights, glass, wheels, tyres, brakes, steering, engine, ancillaries, gearbox, etc. And then I have spares for most of those including about 10x 6" Fuchs, about 30 motorsport tyres (CR6ZZs & D93Js), 2 engines, 3 gearboxes, several exhaust systems, etc, etc.
All this will now be sold. I have been building up all the parts to complete the car for the last 3-4 years. It will be sad to see it all go as I have sourced the best of everything and no expense spared.
If anyone is thinking of building a 911R stylie outlaw hotrod road car then I have a proverbial Aladins cave. The main engine is a 2.4 litre short stroke on a 2 litre case with matching carbs. All new components, just to be assembled. I would be prepared to sell a job lot to someone, so if you are interested then get in touch. Otherwise I will be selling everything off individually over the next year or 2. There are literally 100s of items.
Get in touch by PM if you are interested in a package of parts, otherwise I will be listing everything over the next year on my sales post. 100's of items I've built up.
So don't bother replying to this post directly.

Yep, got all that.Bob wrote:Do you have left manual window winder

adjustable spring plates obviously only for LWB ex Carrera. Rennshift gearstick or std, new or used alternators with matching fans, discs, special ali calipers that look like original steelies, mirrors (interior and doors), headlights (new and used), Handles std or plastic, new BF Torino seats. This is just the tip of the iceberg !

Re: Selling all parts for 911R project
A lot if stuff has sold already. Infact >£23k of stuff sold already in the last week since I posted. There is much more stuff than I've sold still remaining and crucially there is a complete package of body/chassis/interior for a top notch 911R project. This has taken 5 years, many 100s of hours. and includes 100s of items from 100s of suppliers.
For someone wanting to build a 911R or similar themed RGruppe hot rod then it is a unique opportunity to save £s 100s of hours effort and cut at least 1 a year off your project timescale.
I've had plenty of enquiries but people not gone for it just yet. If it doesn't sell as a package soon I will start listing individual items next year and spread it over 6-12 months, but as a package I really think it is a unique opportunity to save time and reduce risk and costs to get a unique package of premium quality parts.
Remember to PM if you are interested rather than reply on here.
Just off for Christmas lunch with UK 914 group on a 200 mile round trip. I know eating meat increases our carbon footprint but I think this is taking the biscuit. Turkey better be good
Merry Christmas
Andrew

Re: Selling all parts for 911R project
I now have a list of stuff for anyone interested in buying a package of parts for their 911R narrow body hotrod project.
I'm not selling things individually yet, so I have divided things up into subtotals of related parts.
Get in touch by PM or call me if you are interested to discuss.
Cheers

Re: Selling all parts for 911R project
I've sold a few packages of parts but interests in larger packages seems to be waning so I will be listing things individually. This will take months but I'll start shortly.
I'll be listing them on ebay and some on here. I'll open a new string and add then on there along with the other items I already have for sale. Lots of narrow body 5.5 and 6" wheels and tyres added so far plus some amber fibreglass engine tin.
