Still haven't managed to commit to selling, retrieved the Alfa from its winter garage.

My son Ben is learning to drive. What better way than in an Alfa.

I see what you did there Tom. Nice looking restaurant.
Car looks great. Ben looks at home in it.

Mike

I was talking to a friend of mine this morning who ( amongst other things) has a "Alfaholics" 105 GTR ( their Singerised version of a 105 ) and he was telling me how wonderful it was, so I called them this afternoon to enquire about a pair of their Recaro seats for my Alfa junior, they were extremely helpful and whilst I was chatting to them I enquired as to the lead time and pricing of a GTR.......

£30,000 initial deposit which secures a build "starting sometime in 2024 with completion sometime in 2026", price is "around £250,000, plus VAT plus cost of donor car " - think I'll stick with my junior on bike carbs and just go for a pair of their seats !

Mark, thanks. It is a lovely car, I really should sell it so I can pay for the build of my e.

Car sold. Mixed emotions, delighted it is going to a good home. I will genuinely miss it, time to get on with my E.
